"Chuckles" the pig and 11-year-old Cassandra Dahl (the human) have a special bond. The Vietnamese Pot-bellied pig sleeps in Cassandra's bed, and amazingly, helps soothe her frequent night terrors. Unfortunately, for an entire year the inseparable pair were forced to live apart because of a very specific town bylaw that doesn't allow pigs as pets. However, after a lengthy appeals process, the town council rewrote the bylaw, and have finally allowed Chuckles to come back home. Go friendship!
