Doctors are pretty accurate in determining when someone has passed away but that's not always the case.

A doctor, identified as Wieslawa C, from Poland is still stunned after a 91-year-old dead woman woke up in the morgue. During a house call on November 6th, Wieslawa pronounced the elderly patient deceased because, as she said, no necessary life functions were present.

The doctor did all the routine methods, searching for a pulse on the neck and forearm arteries along with checking for breathing and the sound of a heartbeat.

She even looked at the woman’s pupils to see if they responded to light but she received no bodily feedback. About two hours after she was declared dead, the thought-to-be deceased woman was transported to the morgue.

It was a little before midnight when a staffer at the facility noticed the body bag moving. After it was opened, the woman said she was cold and asked for a cup of tea.

Now, the 91-year-old’s health is said to be good. Wieslawa commented “If I had had doubts, I would have called the ambulance, done an electrocardiogram, but I was sure that the patient is dead.”
