Carell premieres "Foxcatcher," Thurman gets Bambi award

Steve Carell was on the red carpet for the American Film Institute's gala screening of "Foxcatcher" in Los Angeles. The actor posed for photos and spoke to the media about the film, in which he plays John du Pont - the real life son of one of America's wealthiest families who was convicted in the death of an Olympic gold medal wrestler.

Uma Thurman walked the red carpet at the 66th annual Bambi awards. Thurman received the International Actress Award. Also attending were rock group U2, who were honored with the International Music prize, and Ariana Grande, who received the Newcomer award. The coveted Bambi prize pays tribute to people who have "enthralled, moved and touched the German public."
