Many Brisbane, Australia residents recently got a dusty glimpse of United States presidential helicopters that were practicing maneuvers in the area.

The aircraft were performing takeoff and landing drills on a property near a busy roadway in preparation for President Obama’s arrival for the G20 summit.

Everything went pretty smoothly until two of the landing helicopters blew out thick clouds of dust. The massive plumes quickly spread through the air.

They moved towards the highway and reduced drivers' visibility to the point where it was nearly impossible to see what was in front of them. Some motorists had to stop their vehicles.

Six lanes of traffic were affected by the dust but fortunately, no accidents were reported.

Rhianna Patrick, an ABC Radio National presenter, has pointed out that U.S. Marine Corps officials fly the Sea King helicopters and Osprey aircrafts in pairs in case of emergency situations such as terrorist attacks or technical defects.

That means each chopper will have a backup.
