A new book entitled ‘The Lost Gospel’ will no doubt raise some eyebrows as in it the authors assert that Jesus Christ had a wife and 2 children.

A new book entitled ‘The Lost Gospel’ will no doubt raise some eyebrows as in it the authors assert that Jesus Christ had a wife and 2 children.

Their source has been identified as an ancient manuscript that they came upon in the British Library.

Written in an Aramaic dialect, the text took the writers 6 years to translate and interpret.

As they did so, a tale involving a man named Joseph unfolded, and it described him as having humble beginnings, becoming a savior, and appearing alive after being presumed dead.

They came to the conclusion that the Joseph referred to throughout the manuscript was in fact Jesus Christ.

The approximately 15-hundred year-old document also described the man as having a spouse, which the ‘Lost Gospel’ authors presume to be Mary Magdalene, and producing two children with her.

Critics are already attacking the findings and subsequent report as being invalid.

One religious studies professor from Duke University said, “There is simply no evidence in this text or anywhere else that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene, much less that they had a couple of children.”

A professor hailing from the University of Oxford simply referred to the work as “bilge”.
