Citizens in the UK lit bonfires and set off fireworks to celebrate the country’s traditional Bonfire Night. Bonfire Night, also known as Fireworks’ Night or Guy Fawkes’ Night, is marked every year in the UK on November 5, commemorating a failed 1605 plot to blow up the House of Lords.
