AC/DC's drummer charged in murder plot

Sixty-year-old AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd is charged with attempting to arrange a murder, possession of methamphetamine and marijuana and of making threats to kill.

Details of the case have been suppressed by the court, but Rudd's waterfront house on New Zealand's north island was raided by police on Thursday.

Rudd moved to New Zealand from Australia after being fired as ACDC's drummer in 1983.

After entering no plea to the charges, Rudd was released on bail.
