Shahrukh's Happy New Year Beats Hrithik's Bang Bang RECORD

After having a decent second weekend, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Happy New Year has surpassed the lifetime Box Office collection of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bang Bang.
You heard it right! Within 11 days of its release, the movie has raked in Rs. 183.50 crores and has become the 2nd biggest grosser of 2014, after Kick that minted Rs. 233 crores.
So, what’s the reason behind this? Well, the opening day has helped the film garner massive total. Unlike other films, Shah Rukh’s film is at five after Dhoom 3, Krrish 3, Kick and Chennai Express.
This week we will see The Shaukeens and Rang Rasiya. While Akshay’s film is a light-hearted entertainment, Randeep’s movie is surrounded by the controversy. But will this cross-path with Shah Rukh’s blockbuster, woh toh waqt hi batayega…
