Keeping Score: Countries Ranked on Sustainability - The Minute

A couple of scorecards that rank countries on their sustainability efforts have been released. The fourth Annual Global Green Economy Index, compiled by Dual Citizen, evaluates economic indicators and datasets on leadership on climate change, support of efficiency sectors, market facilitation, investment in green technology and management of ecosystems and natural capital. The top five ranked countries were Sweden, Norway, Costa Rica, Germany, and Denmark, all of which are well on the way to reducing their use of fossil fuels and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
