Don't bully me: Maine nurse
Ebola medic Kaci Hickox emerged from her boyfriend's home in Fort Kent, Maine healthy... and defiant.

SOUNDBITE: EBOLA MEDIC KACI HICKOX SAYING:

"I still believe that I'm fighting for something much more than myself."

The nurse, who treated Ebola patients in West Africa and is not showing any symptoms of the disease herself, is giving the state an ultimatum:

Lift her Ebola quarantine or she'll disregard the restrictions and go to court.

SOUNDBITE: EBOLA MEDIC KACI HICKOX SAYING:

"When someone is asymptomatic there is no risk for them transmitting infection, so to imprison me in my house for three weeks.... I'm not willing to stand here, and let my civil rights be violated when it's not science based."

Hickox's defiance is not sitting well with Maine Governor Paul LePage or his state health commissioner.

They say they'll seek legal authority to keep the nurse isolated at home until the incubation period for Ebola has fully passed.
