CONNIE FRANCIS IN THE 1960'S

Connie Francis was one of the most accomplished artists of the 50's and 60's reeling in hit after hit. She was born in 1938 and by the age of four was performing regularly. By 1957 Connie was well on her way to stardom and for the next twelve years she p[roduced some memorable songs including 'Lipstick On Your Collar' and 'Where The Boys Are'.
Her distinctive cry note used to great effect on many of her performances enchanted audiences world-wide. Undoubtedly one of the giants of the record Industry and a lady of great courage and fortitude who battled against personal trauma to emerge at the other end as an inspiration to others. Peerless would just about describe her in one word.
