Dunya News - ATC adjourns Gullu Butt's vandalism case till Oct 27

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday has adjourned Gullu Butt’s case hearing till October 27.

Constable Abu Bakar got his recorded regarding Gullu Butt’s act of vandalism following which the court issued notices to further witness and adjourned the proceedings till October 27.

Gullu Butt talking to the media after the case hearing concluded said he expects justice from the court and he has apologized for his mistake.

He further said he belongs to Pakistan and not India that he is being terribly criticized.

Earlier, Gullu Butt’s lawyer seemed confident of Butt’s acquital as the witnesses being provided by the police are insufficient. ATC had adjourned Gullu Butt’s case hearing till October 23 and summoned further witnesses for the case.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Muneer was questioned following which the court ordered o bring in more witnesses. After the case hearing,

Gullu Butt talked to the media and said chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Allama Tahirul Qadri and chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan are like his father and uncle respectively they therefore talk so much about me. He said he is thankful to the media for the popularity but is ashamed of the negative image and admitted that it brought shame to the country. Gullu Butt represents Pakistan, he added.

Gullu butt has also appeared on Dunya News show "Sawal?" hosted by Imran Khan. He said that he feels himself guilty for having broken windscreens of cars and asked for unconditional apology.
