There are some individuals who go above and beyond to create a remarkable Halloween display. Steve Jandick and Nick Thomas, both of Naperville, Illinois, go out of their way to make sure viewers get quite a show.

The home of Nick is completely decked out for Halloween. Orange and white pumpkins, skeletons, monsters, zombies, gravestones, you name it, this place has got it.

About 750 decorative items are installed around the house. Lights and music make the exhibit come to life at night.

Steve remarked “I do the light show portion of it and Nick does all the decorations, so it’s the best of both worlds. The house is actually Nick’s, but my parents live next door. I’ve been helping Nick do it for 15 years.”

Just looking at the décor installation, anyone can tell a lot of hard work goes into it. The two men spend a year getting ready. Once Halloween is over, they start preparing for next season, specifically the aspect of sequencing the lights to the music.

The songs will pretty much suit just about everyone. Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, AC/DC and Queen are just a few featured artists and bands of varying genres. According to Steve, the home attracts anywhere from 3 to 4 thousand visitors each weekend around Halloween.

This year, the pair is using the display to raise money for Gigi’s playhouse to help families of children with Down Syndrome.
