Miss world “off the wall”

The thirteenth Alternative Miss World competition returned to London on Saturday bringing poise, personality and a lot of originality to the spiritual home of theatre in the UK, at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre on the South Bank. The competition started in 1972, created by the eccentric artist Andrew Logan. One of the most popular entries was a contestant who turned up as a box of chocolate mints.
