Body Of Missing 'Django Unchained' Actress Believed To Have Been Found

Police in Auburn, Washington believe the body of a missing Django Unchained actress has been found. 32-year-old Misty Upham disappeared on October 6th after walking out of her sister’s home in Seattle.

Upham had relocated to the city to help provide care to her father after he had a stroke. Reportedly she was suffering from anxiety and bi polar disorder. At some point, she is believed to have stopped taking her medication.
At the time she went missing, her father expressed he was concerned that she might be suicidal. The brush-covered body was located in a wooded area near a river.
An individual who was part of a search party put together by the Upham family made the discovery. Officers responded to the scene and saw the body about 150 feet down an embankment.
Police posted a note on Facebook that reads “Because a purse containing identification of Misty Upham was at the scene the body is presumed to be that of Upham. The Auburn Police Department states that there is no initial evidence or information to indicate foul play.”
The King County Medical Examiner is working to positively ID the victim and determine a cause of death.
