Trixie & the Treetrunks is pretty much your basic puppet telenovela revolving around the trials and tribulations of a band of young down-and-out forest creatures who are recruited by a magical, helium-voiced tree to send subliminal messages to the world through their music. It's also about the druggy rock scene at the center of the Earth, the challenge of a finding a good drummer, and the joys of making out. You know, standard puppet business. We chatted briefly with Miss Pussycat about her inspiration for this felt pile of genius.
