Mass graves found in southern Mexico

Several mass graves were found along this track in the Mexican state on Guerrero where dozens of people have been missing since last week.

The graves were found on Saturday on the outskirts of Iguala city.

Relatives of the 44 people missing after clashes between students, police and armed men now face an anxious wait for news.

There've been allegations that police used excessive force against the students.

More than 20 officers have been arrested for killing two students in the violence.

Human rights representatives say the condition of the remains found in the newly-discovered mass graves isn't yet known.

Many mass graves have been unearthed across Mexico in recent years, the legacy of drugs gang violence that's killed about 100, 000 people since 2007.
