Ecuador remembers 2010 coup attempt as Progressives Meet concludes

The Latin American Progressives conference in Ecuador concluded yesterday with a huge public rally in memory of the coup attempt against President Rafael Correa four years ago. The attempted coup d'etat was successfully thwarted by the military after people took to the streets to demand their president's rescue.
