The war in Syria rages on, as Islamic Front fighters battle government forces for control of Aleppo.

Another purports to show the rebels wiring a bomb in a building affiliated with Assad's forces.
And to the east, while US-led coaltion aircraft continue to attack the Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa, Turkey's military across the border are taking a strong defensive stance, keeping a wary eye on the besieged border town of Kobani.
Shelling by Islamic State insurgents has intensified here, with at least two shells apparently landing in Turkey.
