BUSINESS DAILY - Air France shares rise amid hopes of strike resolution

Shares in Air France-KLM have risen in early trading over hopes of a resolution of the pilots' strike. It comes after the French transport minister said the airline had abandoned controversial plans to expand its low-cost carrier Transavia. Air France said his announcement was "premature", and that the project remains suspended until December.
