Born and raised in Thessaloniki to Serres Sidirokastro, Hercules Triantafyllidis very young had a great inclination to music, playing various instruments (harmonica and flute, accordion, guitar, etc.) and writing lyrics, poetry, prose and composing songs and music.In June 1980 released a lyrics - poetic collection.
The December 2004 was published by Papaioannou one book, Oneirotaxideftis, which is a philosophical fantasy novel.So the reference to Hercules shared the musical, poetic, and his writings.
As a continuation and evolution of complex DNA Hercules Triantafyllidi is Hydra, complex ethnic-jazz-rock, always with Greek verse (poetic with sociopolitical concerns). The music and the orchestration of Hercules filtered through traditional timbres.[1972 - 1974] Triantafyllidis Hercules (voice, guitar, violin, banjo - mandolin, flutes, harmonica, etc.), Fontas Hatzis (drums), George Maglaras (violin), Peter Protopappas (flute, vocals), George Jagger (bass).Later alternatively participate: Chris Stimagkiotis (flute), Lakis Papadopoulos (guitar, vocals), Tolis Dimitrakopoulos (guitar, vocals) and Nick Pavlakos, "kiosk" (bass).
Fall 1973 protopaizetai mouat in Plaka "11th commandment" the rock opera of Hercules "In other worlds" released by EMI in the double LP in January 1976.
