Police in New York City are on the hunt for three suspects who allegedly robbed a Chelsea restaurant. On Friday night, the culprits, one of whom was armed with a machete, walked into the establishment which is known for Mexican food.

At one point, the armed suspect brandished his machete and reportedly demanded money in Spanish. A cash register, located behind the bar was soon removed by a crook.
When the masked males entered the business, all the servers and restaurant staffers either ducked or darted out of the way.
One patron who was at the bar remained seated for most of the crime. Police later said he didn’t offer much information as he had been intoxicated and distracted by his phone while the robbery was going down right in front of him.
The trio made off with the register full of cash. The entire crime took less than a minute. The terrifying holdup was caught by surveillance cameras and now police have released the footage hoping someone will recognize the suspects who are thought to be in their 20s.
Anyone with information is asked to submit tips via Crime Stoppers. Fortunately no one was injured in the heist.
