Tomato Saar By Archana

A tangy tomato curry made in typical Maharashtrian style with coconut and Indian spices. Archana gives the recipe a twist by adding cashew nuts and giving a slightly sweeter taste to the dish, just the perfect combination of- sweetness with a dash of 'tangyness'.

Ingredients
1/2 coconut milk
3 tomatoes finely chopped
3 onions finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1.5 tbsp besan
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp asafoetida
3 green chillies
Cashews
Coriander for garnish
Oil
Water
