Mel Brooks Wears Prosthetic Finger For Handprint Impression

On Monday, film director, writer and actor, Mel Brooks finally got to leave his impression in concrete. He dipped a six-finger hand in cement at the Hollywood theatre.

The TCL Chinese Theatre is home to tons of celebrity handprints, footprints and autographs. On Monday, film director, writer and actor, Mel Brooks finally got to leave his impression in concrete.

Instead of doing what everybody else does, Brooks decided to leave a unique mark that will make visitors do a double take when viewing his slab.

“In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of ‘Young Frankenstein’ Mel Brooks left prints of his hands and feet while wearing an extra prosthetic finger.” [Via CNN]

He dipped a six-finger hand in cement at the Hollywood theatre.

Now, his slab has his footprints, handprints, autograph and the date. It’s the first handprint though that really stands out.

He later posted a photo on his Twitter account with a caption that reads “I desperately need to wash my hands.”

Brooks also showcased the sixth finger while appearing as a guest on ‘Conan’ for a few laughs.
