A new opinion poll shows the campaign for Scotland's independence is gaining momentum. The poll comes in less than three weeks ahead of a major breakaway referendum.
The poll for the Scottish Daily Mail newspaper says support for independence has grown by four percent, halving the anti-independence campaign's lead. According to the poll, support for the anti-independence camp has fallen to 53 from 57 percent. The historic referendum of September 18 could end a union dating back to 1707. But UK Prime Minister David Cameron is warning Scotland not to risk what he called the great unknown of independence.
