Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that rigging allegations on him were baseless. He said that he answered all the allegations in the notice sent to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan. "Imran Khan's allegations are nothing but a pile of lies", said former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry.
Talking to a press conference today (Tuesday), Iftikhar Chaudhry said that Imran Khan’s allegations on him about election rigging were baseless. He said that Imran Khan’s response to his notice was a proof that Imran Khan was blaming him for no reason.
Responding to a question, Iftikhar Chaudhry said that judiciary must play its role in the political situation currently prevailing in the country. He said that judiciary was playing its role correctly in his opinion.
