    The lives of the homeless in the UK

    In this edition VOR’s Tim Ecott speaks to Andrew Faris, founder of the charity Rhythms of Life International. The charity works with the homeless in some of London’s poorest areas.

    Government statistics have shown that over the past three years the number of British households needing emergency accommodation has risen by around 25%. For charities working with the homeless the stark reality of life on the street is all too evident. Rhythms of Life International distributes emergency food in the boroughs of Hackney and Hammersmith.
