Dunya News - Ready for dialogue, even Obama can't stray me from mission: Tahirul Qadri

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said on Sunday that he is ready to dialogue even if it is with the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, adding that no power in the world including United States President Obama can stray him from his mission, Dunya News reported.
Addressing the ‘Inqilab March’ participants in Islamabad, he said “our foremost demand has been the investigation over the Model Town tragedy and justice for the martyrs”. He said his dialogue committee has been putting forth this demand over and over again but the government side insists on talking politics.
“No fear or greed can enter our circle of life. Keep your minds clear, this will happen often. They asked me if Nawaz, Shahbaz came to talk to you, will you do it, I said yes. I don’t have problem talking to anyone”, he told the protesters.
Warning of his own bloodshed, Qadri said to ‘rulers and institutions’ if rights are not given to the martyrs and poor, the first bloodshed will be of his own.
“I am here for martyrdom…if my blood is shed, I don’t know how many thousands will follow. This Parliament House will not remain the same, this will turn into a cemetery of martyrs”, he warned.
“If you wish to take my blood to save the country, do it, we’ll see what happens.”
PAT chief said Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique came to him and reminded of the past relation. He said he stopped Saad Rafique and insisted of ‘justice for martyrs’.
“We are the ones who don’t scare easy, we don’t bow down to anyone…we’ll not bow down even if the wealth of the whole world is brought to me”, he said.
