On Wednesday, an office building in Montgomery County, Maryland had to be evacuated after a vehicle plowed right through the structure. According to local fire officials, the Jeep traveled about 25 feet into the building.

Crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident. Several people were removed from the building. Rescuers pulled the driver and a child out of the vehicle.

Fortunately nobody encountered life-threatening injuries, however the situation could have been far worse.

A co-owner of the Hearing Health Center which is located inside the structure, said one of her employees works in the office where the SUV landed. Normally, the staffer would have been sitting at her desk, but she wasn’t there at the time of the crash.

The co-owner explained “ It seems like a minor miracle. Thank God she was at our second location today in Wheaton. I'm overwhelmed with that good news.”

The office building didn’t sustain any structural damage. It’s not clear what exactly went wrong, but reportedly there were at least two vehicles involved.

According to police, the Jeep’s driver backed into a Mercedes in the parking lot and slammed on the gas pedal which sent the SUV barreling into the structure. The elderly driver said she blacked out behind the wheel.
