"Father of yoga" BKS Iyengar dies at 95

The man considered to be the father of modern yoga, BKS Iyengar has died at the age of 95.

With a global following which included celebrities such as violinist Yuhudi Menuhin and novelist Aldous Huxley, Iyengar was named as one of the world’s most influential living people by Time magazine in 2004.

Indian media reports the yoga guru had been suffering from heart problems.
