The German travel company Trivago is giving people a chance to dress its disheveled pitchman in something more appealing.
Since the Trivago pitchman’s rise to television and Internet fame, many have shared their not-so-positive feelings about the guy’s fashion sense.
The spokesman’s name is Tim Williams and he appears in the ads looking a bit disheveled and isn’t wearing a belt.
Now, the German travel company he represents is giving people a chance to dress him in something they feel is more appealing and befitting his position.
The winner gets a 5-day trip to Berlin and the opportunity to sit in on the commercial shoot featuring the newly made-over Williams.
Participating is simple. All one needs to do is post a picture of what outfit they think he’d look best in.
How the ensemble is displayed is up to the individual. The clothes can be modeled or photographed hanging on the rack.
The apparel can come from one’s own closet or their store of choice.
The public will vote on their favorites and Williams’ new outfit will be chosen from the top 6 contenders by a Trivago panel.
