There isn’t anything sexy about men flaunting bikinis….or is there? It seems as though men across the country think it’s pretty awesome, as they’re shaving bikinis into their chest hair.

No one is quite sure why guys are showing off the shaven, typically girly bathing suits, but the idea is certainly unique. The trend seems to be a spin on mankinis, where a man wears a very skimpy and revealing sling that just barely covers the nether regions.

The chest hair bikinis are a little more modest. Given that most men take their shirts off at the beach, nothing is super revealing.

Many males wear their swimming shorts and just showcase the bikini top derived from manly body hair. The guys are posting photos of their shave jobs on social media.

The trend dates back to September of 2013 when guys shared their unique images on Twitter. Now it appears to be spreading, with the men hoping to have their photo go viral.

Despite it being debatably bizarre, the bikini manscaping will certainly attract attention in the real world as well, whether it is at the beach or by the pool.
