SCRIPT

Cuba celebrated the 88th birthday of the leader of its revolution, Fidel Castro, with a special photography exhibition in Havana, Wednesday. The exhibit “Fidel is Fidel” features snapshots taken over the last decade and also audio-visual content showing important moments from his political life.

The artistic tribute to Fidel Castro is a work from renowned cameraman Roberto Chile, who has served as Castro's personal photographer for 25 years. Fidel's 83-year-old brother Raul Castro attended the event.

The images will be on show until September 13, along with a bronze sculpture of Castro.
