BEACH TENNIS is a beach sport that combines the dynamic and fast-paced elements of tennis, beach volleyball and badminton. It appeals to practically everyone and can be pursued on the recreation and competitive levels. It is strictly an aerial game, whereby players need to keep a rally back and forth without letting the bounce or hit the sand. Like tennis and badminton one hit is allowed per team and only one serve attempt can be done. The game is played on a beach volleyball court and requires the use of depressurized tennis balls and specially designed rackets or paddles. The scoring system is similar with regular tennis except with the permanent use of no-advantage, after deuce. Professional tennis players such as Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Serena Williams, and Andy Murray play the sport.
