Dunya News - Artist beats colour-blindness through electronic chip in his brain

British-born artist Neil Harbisson is the first man of the world to have gotten an antenna fixed in his brain. This antenna, Cyborg, has allowed Neil to overcome his colour-blindness.
Neil has invented this antenna by himself. He is not only able to distinguish between some of the colours now but can also hear their sounds. This antenna allows him to hear the sound generated by the surface of these colours as this device changes the sound produced from the surface of the colour into infrared rays.
Neil has started a movement to promote this device so that more colour-blind people can use it to their advantage.
