James Bond has driven plenty of Aston-Martins, but even he hasn't driven this roughly 2 million dollar model. Considered the fastest Aston-Martin to-date, only 77 were produced.
Number 9. Koenigsegg Agera R
Its name means "take action" in Swedish and like all Koenigsegg models, the overriding philosophy is “to enhance vehicle performance. “ This car goes for around $1.7 million, and an additional $270,000 can get you a faster, carbon-fiber version.
Number 8. Lamborghini Reventón. After debuting in 2007, only 20 of the fighter jet inspired Reventóns were produced, and Lamborghini considers each one a "masterpiece." Originally sold for 1 million Euros, now and again a used one pops up like this 2010 model for around 2 million dollars.
Number 7. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
Only five were made, and each car is able to shoot to 60 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds and 125 miles per hour in 9.6 seconds. At the equivalent of roughly $1.8 million, it's one of the fastest, and most expensive, cars.
Number 6. Koenigsegg One:1. Debuting in 2014 and so called because of its incredible ratio of 1 horsepower to 1 kilogram of weight, it is considered the "world's first mega car" due to its approximately 1,340 horsepower, or 1 megawatt. Only six Koenigsegg One:1’s were produced and have all reportedly been sold for around $2.4 million.
Number 5. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse . Hailed as the fastest production roadster of all time, with a top speed of 255 miles per hour. Bugatti has reportedly capped production for their Grand Sport models at 150 cars. The Vitesse sells for approximately $2.6 million.
Number 4.W Motors Lykan Hypersport
Like other cars on this list, the $3.4 million Lykan Hypersport is regarded for its speed and power reportedly rivaling that of a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, but it also comes with an incredible amount of bling such as diamond-encrusted LED headlights. Other gems, such as sapphires and rubies can also be incorporated into this vehicle.
Number 3. McLaren P1 GTR. So far all that has been released is a conceptual sketch, but this track-only super car with a performance goal of 986 horsepower is scheduled to debut in August at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Actual production is not expected until 2015. In order to purchase the roughly $3.36 million car, you already have to own the P1 model, which costs around $1.15 million.
Number 2. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster
Sources differ on whether Lamborghini will produce 3 or 9 of these aerodynamic, carbon-fiber cars with a mind boggling $4.5 million price tag. A German dealer is claiming to have the 9th one up for sale at an increased price of around $7.6 million but no other details have been provided.
Number 1. The Maybach Exelero
Unveiled in 2005, this is the world's most expensive, one-of-a-kind car costing an astronomical $8 million. Designed as an homage to the German car company’s 1930's sports car, this car was built by request for Fulda, who needed a vehicle to test new, high-tech tires on.
