Originally released in 1999 to mark the character’s 20th anniversary, Pac-Man World was brought to the Game Boy Advance five years later. The game is a platformer very typical of its time. Players control Pac-Man through a variety of worlds as he collects pellets and tries to reach a coin at the end of each level. The gameplay borrows elements from several familiar platform series, including Super Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog, and it also incorporates some nods to the classic Pac-Man titles with ghosts, fruit and pellets. Pac-Man World is a single-player game on the Game Boy Advance. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pac-Man World for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
