In the US state of Ohio, an African elephant is showing the world that it is not only humans who possess artistic skills.
Renee the elephant showed off her art talents when she picked up paintbrushes at the Toledo Zoo. The African elephant is thirty-two years-old and the resident artist of the zoo. She has been painting her watercolors for twenty years. The paintings are in coordination with a campaign created by the New York-based Wildlife Conservation Society. That campaign seeks to end the sale of elephant ivory.
