Meccano is known for being a popular toy model for many kids. But a Meccano model builder in South Africa is taking the size of this model to a whole new level.
The giant object weighs one-point-three tonnes. It took the builder five years to make the large coal extractor model. At ninety-six meters in height, the original device is said to be the world's largest land-based vehicle. The Meccano model builder, Graham Shepherd hopes his item will be recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, as the largest Meccano set ever built. There is currently no record for Meccano models.
