The creator of Fables, Bill Willingham, acted as a consultant for The Wolf Among Us though he did state that he felt like he was stealing money from Telltale since they’ve done such a great job with the adaptation. However, he did have to remind Telltale that Bigby can’t drive nor is he allowed on the Farm. Fast Facts! In the world of Fables, there’s a theory that characters whose fairy tales are more popular are also more physically durable. Hence, this may explain why Bigby can take much more punishment compared to say… Flycatcher. Fast Facts! The developers of Telltale Games have held numerous in-house experiments to push the level of immersion players could have within the story. Prototypes included players making choices via speech recognition and text input, but they were considered to be too “out there”.
