A mobile application is helping farmers in Ghana connect with the agricultural industry via an online communications system that's easily accessible and cost-effective.
The app has been called m-Farms, which connects to a network, providing information about agricultural practices. The technology was brought to Ghana by software development firm Image-Ad with the help of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa. Farmers in the African country say that so far, m-Farms is improving production and profits from seed all the way to the market.
