Nowhere to run: young Palestinians caught in the conflict
  • 10 years ago
Palestinians continue to bury the innocent victims of the conflict with Israel.

Overnight air strikes on Jabalya left a baby and a three-year-old dead.

The UN and a group of NGO’s are growing increasingly concerned about the number of young people being killed in the conflict.

“One child has been killed in Gaza every hour for the past two days,” said a UN statement. It continued: “A request for a humanitarian pause has been rejected by the Israeli authorities.”

A Palestinian teenager was killed in nighttime clashes in Bethlehem when groups of youths and Israeli security forces engaged in running battles.

Israel insists it is waging a targeted military offensive.
