Israel continues attacks on the Gaza Strip from air and land. At least 665 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 4200 wounded since July the eight.
Fresh Israeli attacks have killed more than two dozen Palestinians, with almost half of them killed in tank shelling in Khan Yunis. The victims include a journalist who died in an attack on his house in Gaza’s Shojaiya neighborhood. Israeli jets have also bombed a mosque, and also Gaza’s power plant. The Israeli military has now ordered Palestinians in Gaza’s Shifa hospital to evacuate the building. Tel Aviv has in the past few days attacked two more hospitals in Gaza. The army says it has killed 210 Palestinian fighters so far, admitting that more than 400 of those killed were civilians, including women and children.
