The longest fossilized piece of dinosaur feces ever found is going up for sale alongside other pieces of fossilized dinosaur poop in an auction hosted by the I.M. What is believed to be the longest fossilized piece of dinosaur feces ever found is going up for sale alongside other unusual pieces of remains in an auction hosted by I.M. Chait Gallery located in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

Fossilized feces are called coprolites, and the biggest piece going up for auction was found in Washington state’s Lewis county.

It is reportedly between 5 to 33 million years old, from the Oligocene or Miocene Epochs.

The various fossils are expected to sell from four thousand to ten thousand dollars, with the largest poop fossil the most expensive at eight to ten thousand dollars.

Josh Chait, spokesperson for the I.M. Chait Gallery, gave a description of one of the items up for sale saying: “The passer of this remarkable object is unknown, but it is nonetheless a highly evocative specimen of unprecedented size, presented in four sections, each with a heavy black marble custom base, an eye-watering 40 inches in length overall.”

Some of the pieces are believed to be cololites, which is a fossil of an animal’s intestine, rather than a piece of feces.
