Several killed and scores injured in Germany bus crash

At least nine people have been killed and more than 40 injured in a bus crash near Dresden in Germany.

Local police said that the incident, which happened on the A4 highway early on Saturday morning, involved a Polish coach and minibus and a Ukrainian coach.

A preliminary police report indicated that the Polish coach hit the rear of the Ukrainian coach then broke through the central reservation, crashing into the oncoming minibus.

Initial information obtained by local media suggested that several of the people killed were Polish citizens traveling in the mini bus.
