A teenage pilot from the US has managed to land in the record books after completing a solo journey around the world.
Nineteen-year-old Matt Guth-miller will officially be the youngest person to complete the flight once the Guinness World Record makes it official. Guth-miller travelled to fourteen different countries and five continents with a distance of nearly forty-seven thousand kilometers. The journey was done over a six week period in a 19-81 Beechcraft A36 Bonanza jet. Guth-miller left the US state of California on May 31 and needed to return by the twenty-sixth of July to take the record.
