The Israeli army on Sunday (July 13) released a video said to show the warning methods used to warn Gaza civilians before targeting buildings.

The first part of the video, the army said, contained a conversation between an army official and a Palestinian resident of Gaza in which he was warned ahead of the targeting of a building said to be used by militants.

Another video showed the "Knock on the Roof" bombing method, the army said, intended to warn civilians to distance themselves from the target ahead of Israeli air strikes.

Despite intensified Israeli military action - which included a commando raid overnight in what was Israel's first reported ground action in Gaza during the current fighting - militants continued to launch rocket after rocket across the border.

No one has been killed in Israel by the more than 800 rockets the military said has been fired since the offensive began.
