The world famous Bull Run Festival has ended its fifth day in Pamplona, Spain. But all wasn’t well today as six people were injured after being trampled on by the running bulls.
The event is part of Spain’s eight-day festival of San Fermin in Pamplona. It sees hundreds of runners being chased by a dozen bulls through the narrow winding streets of the city. Daily medical reports issued by the local red cross says six people were taken to hospital, two of them with head trauma. Video reports show a female runner among those being trampled over by the animals. Despite the injuries, the festival has become a global tourist attraction, attended by thrill seekers from around the world as well as the locals.
