Noah wasn't the movie that most people were expecting, though it seemed like there were two distinct camps before the movie even came out -- those on the Christian side who felt it was a misrepresentation of the biblical story, and those who thought, "F*ck yeah, Aronofsky." When all the dust settled after the movie finally came out, it did fall short of being perfect -- or even great -- and landed with a resounding "meh" from both critics and audience, mainly because it was a bloated mess of over-the-top CGI.
Which brings us to Exodus which has Ridley Scott behind it, a director who started out brilliantly but has left us a little high and dry lately -- especially after the disappointing Prometheus. Judging by this trailer, Exodus: Gods and Kings is going to be nothing short of a grand-scale epic biblical film -- but will it suffer the same fate as Noah? Will it be too big for its own good? What do you guys think?
