The air is heavy with smoke as tensions rise.

Israeli police struggle to control protesters, as rage spills into the streets of Galilee.

The recent killing of three kidnapped Israeli teens, and the burning-alive of 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khudair have driven Israeli-Palestinian relations to their lowest point since peace talks broke down in April.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is demanding Palestinian leaders "do everything" to find the killers of the Israeli teens.

"I know that in our society, the society of Israel, there is no place for such murderers. And that's the difference between us and our neighbors. They consider murderers to be heroes, they name public squares after them. We don't. We condemn them and we put them on trial and we'll put them in prison."

Palestinians believe Khudair was the victim of revenge by far-right Jews.
